On Tuesday June 9th I lost a good friend...my Sony VAIO VGN-FZ290 the computer's bad habit of overheating took its toll on the graphics card and the computer commited suicide. The graphics card fried and I cannot run anything more than a ubuntu boot up disk and if I attempt to install the required drivers...suicide repeats itself.
On Tuesday June 16th I am burying my friend and a new one will have come to take his place. An Acer Aspire 8390.
